unwired view: Dual SIM Samsung Galaxy S III shows up in China

The Galaxy Note II isn’t the only high-end Samsung handset that’s going to be available in a dual SIM version in China.

A Galaxy S III with dual SIM capabilities has been spotted recently, too. It has the model number SCH-i939D and, like the dual SIM Note II, it doesn’t support two GSM SIM cards, but a GSM one, and a CDMA one (usable on China Telecom).

The Galaxy S III i939D looks exactly like the international S III (the black edition, to be precise). It runs Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, and comes with familiar features: 4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD display, quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos 4412 processor, 1GB of RAM, 1.9MP front-facing camera, and an 8MP rear camera with Flash.

The Samsung Galaxy S III i939D should become available in China starting December. Its price is not known at the moment – but it should be lower than the price of the dual SIM Galaxy Note II, and slightly higher than what you have to pay for the regular S III.
