Unwired View: Dual SIM Samsung Galaxy S Duos GT-S7562L hits the FCC

That Samsung Galaxy S Duos which we’ve been seeing around lately has been approved by the FCC. The Federal Commission tested a Galaxy S Duos that goes by the model number GT-S7562L. Initially, we’ve spotted the handset as the GT-S7562, so there must some slight difference between the two models – most probably related to its 3G radio bands.

Speaking of 3G, the FCC tested the Galaxy S Duos S7562L on the 850 and 1900 MHz WCDMA frequencies. This obviously means the smartphone can run on AT&T’s 3G network. But I somehow doubt AT&T will want to launch a dual SIM handset. Anyway, we still don’t know when the new phone will be released, but it should happen soon.

Apart from dual SIM capabilities, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 4 inch WVGA display, GPS, Wi-Fi, 1GHz single-core processor, VGA front-facing camera, and a 5MP rear camera with Flash.
