Samsung Galaxy Mega LTE (GT-I9205) hits FCC

A new variant of Galaxy Mega smartphone (GT-I9205) is passing trough the FCC, supporting LTE band 5 (850mhz) – so it’s unlikely to hit US market as none of carriers there are using this frequency. As the 5.8″ version isn’t 4G-enabled, this probably means that GT-I9205 device mentioned in FCC docs is the bigger 6.3-inch version. Source: [...]

Samsung got highest number of mobile patents in FY12

Samsung and LG agree to settle OLED tech inaccuracies through dialogue
