Samsung’s high-end Tablet Revealed – Meet the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition
Samsung show up couple of devices today, and one of them is Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition Tablet, and just to clarify – it will hit the stores this year, not in 2014.
What you will probably notice at first when holding Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a gorgeous 10.1-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) Super Clear LCD screen with a pixel density of 299 PPI.
Device will be released in two hardware variants. 3G and 3G+WiFi variants will pack latest Samsung Exynos 5420 Octa-Core SoC clocked at 1.9Ghz with built-in speedy Mali-T628 GPU. The LTE+WiFi version be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-Core CPU with a clock speed set to 2.3GHz and built-in Adreno 330 GPU.
Both hardware variants will come with 3GB of RAM, which helps a lot when comes to multi-tasking. Built-in WiFI adapter will support a/b/g/n/c dual-band connectivity. We will also see a Bluetooth 4.0 Low Power support and GPS/AGPS + GLONASS when comes to navigation.
Note 10.1 2014 will be available with 16, 32 and 64GB of internal memory expandable by microSD cards (up to 64GB), a front 8MP camera with Led Flash, Auto Focus and Zero Shutter Lag technology, and 2MP Front shooter. All of this fine hardware will be powered by juicy but not removable Li-Ion 8,220mAh battery.
Of course as this is a Note series device, it will have full support for included S-PEN and will come with latest Android Jelly Bean 4.3 and new version of TouchWiz UI which brings plenty of new features for Note devices.
The general availability date is not announced yet, and the price point also stays unknown, we will report on that when more info will be available.
