Samsung SGH-T699 for T-Mobile discovered, has a 720p display, ARM11 processor
If the information contained within a recently discovered piece of code is to be believed, T-Mobile will be getting a new Samsung smartphone soon – a smartphone with a model number SGH-T699. The device in question sports a 720p display of an unknown size and a processor based on ARM11 architecture, as indicated by strings of data within that code.
The thing about the Samsung SGH-T699 is that we are not sure what it is. On one hand, rumor has it that it is the Samsung Galaxy S III, which will supposedly come to T-Mobile next month. However, since the model number of the T-Mobile Galaxy S III is strongly believed to be SGH-T999, we are left wondering which rumor is more likely to be correct.
On the other hand, it is speculated that the mysterious Samsung smartphone is a T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy Nexus, but that is just a wild speculation that is not backed up by any further evidence, or at least not for now. That said, we won’t be putting our money on that scenario just yet.
