Samsung launches Galaxy Tab 2 310 in India
Samsung today officially launched the Galaxy Tab 2 310 in India. The 7-inch tablet becomes the first Samsung tablet to run Android 4.0 in India out of the box. The device is available in the market for a MRP of Rs 23,250. The South Korean giant has partnered with Tata DOCOMO for a free 3GB download plan for three months.
The Galaxy Tab 2 310 runs Android 4.0 with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top. Besides this, the device runs a 1GHz dual-core processor, 7-inch PLS display with a resolution 1024×600, a 4,000 mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, microSD support, 3-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front cameras. It seems like Samsung has not introduced the 8GB and 32GB variants of the tablet in India.
Samsung has also loaded the device with their Readers, Games and my Movie hubs which provide users with a plethora of content. For instance, the Readers Hub gives users access to 2 million e-books, 3,500 magazines in 25 languages and more than 2,000 newspapers in 51 languages. The‘My Movies’ hub gives consumers access to more than 500 full movies and more than 2500 music videos.
