Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and 8.0 announced in India

At today’s event Samsung announced latest Galaxy Tab 3 family availability in India. Devices anounced in event was Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 3G (SM-T211) and Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 in WiFi (SM-T310) and 3G version (SM-T311).

A 7-inch model of Galaxy Tab 3 (SM-T211) comes with a WSVGA (1024×600) display, 1.2GHz dual-core SoC, 1GB of RAM, 3MPx back shooter and 1.3MPx at front, as for connectivity it packs WiFi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, 8GB internal memory, GPS and A-GPS, microSD card expansion slot (up to 64GB), all this hardware is powered by 4000mAh battery and latest Android OS – Jelly Bean 4.2.2.  Retail price of this unit in India is set to Rs. 17,745.

8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 (SM-T310 and SM-T311) features an 8-inch display with WXGA (1280×800) resolution. Driven by 1.5GHz dual-core Exynos SoC, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, 5MP back and 1.9MP front cameras. You will also get WiFi (a/b/g/n) (and 3G modem in SM-T311), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and A-GPS, microSD card expansion slot (up to 64GB). Hardware will be powered by 4450mAh battery and Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS.

Retail prices for the 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 tablet with 3G is set to Rs. 25,725 and WiFi-only version will sell for Rs. 21,945.
