Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A (SHV-E300S) goes official for SK Telecom

Yesterday, SK-Telecom in Korea announced it’s new LTE-A network launch and premiere of LTE-A powered Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A (SHV-E330S) smartphone. SK-T said that LTE Advanced S4 is capable of reaching network speed for up to 150Mbps in their infrastructure – and its first of that kind of devices worldwide.

Smartphone will be available in Blue Arctic or Red Aurora colors, and will hold the same design as its I9500/I9505 versions. The main difference between the Galaxy S4 LTE-A and the version we are familiar with already is the presence of a much more powerful Qualcomm flagship Quad-Core SoC – Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.3GHz. The rest of the specs are familiar – they include 5″ 1080p Super AMOLED display, 13MP camera, 32GB of built-in storage, microSD card slot (up to 64GB), IR port, WiFi (a/b/g/n), BT 4.0 and 2,600mAh battery.

Expectedly, the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A will be priced a bit higher than its brothers. There no information on the handset’s availability for more markets or carriers as for now, we will report if this device will be available outside of Korea.
