Samsung Galaxy Grand Dual Sim announced in India
Samsung Galaxy Grand Smartphone, which was announced in December 2012, received its official announcement in India today.
Samsung Galaxy Grand contains a 5″ WVGA TFT screen and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Smartphone’s heart is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core SoC along with 1 GB of RAM. For photo-addicted users, devide packs a 8MP camera with LED flash at the back and a 2 MP camera in the front, both capable to shoot 1080p videos. The dual-SIM smartphone includes just 8GB of internal storage but supports memory expansion up to 64GB via the microSD card slot. All of this hardware is powered by 2100mAH removable battery.
A Samsung India executive said that if a user is taking a call on one sim, Galaxy Grand’s auto-forwarding feature will automatically redirect an incoming call on the other sim to the first connection, which is a nice additional feature for this double sim phone.
The 5-inches smartphone with dual-SIM functionality will been priced in India at Rs. 21500 ( ~$400 USD).
