phone Arena: Samsung’s mysterious Windows 8 transforming tablet will be announced at IFA 2012
Samsung has teased us with a pretty unique concept when we look at upcoming Windows 8 devices – a tablet with what looks like a built-in stylus and a keyboard dock. But while we knew it was coming soon, now Samsung has revealed that the transforming tablet will get officially announced in just a couple of days, at IFA 2012 in Berlin.
We first saw Samsung prototypes of a tablet with a keyboard dock in June with the Samsung Series 5 Hybrid. It also featured a keyboard dock, a slot for a stylus and a screen around 11 inches in size. We expect to be finally able to see the final product around August 31st when IFA kicks off.
Samsung is advertizing this transforming tablet with the cryptic question “ready to be smart?” Well, if you are puzzled by how you can prepare to be “smart” and how would this tablet allow you to suddenly become smart (obviously, that’s the intended message), you’re not alone.
