Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S3 will be updated to Android 4.3 in October
Yesterday Samsung confirmed during its Unpacked event that the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy S3 smartphones will get firmware update to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean starting from October, and that the update will include support for Galaxy Gear hardware, and probably refreshed TouchWiz. We should expect that different carriers and regions will release the update at different times, but the official annoucement means that sooner or later the update will come to your smartphone. There are no words on different devices to be updated to 4.3 yet, but we can assume that previous generation of Note “phablet” will also get the 4.3 Update soon.
As always, the firmware will be available for download at our device specific firmware pages, so watch our twitter for notifications.
