What we already know about the device and will Samsung surprises us with some new features in either Software or Hardware of upcoming Galaxy Note 3 device? As the Galaxy Note 3 Unpacked Episode 2 Event that happens in Berlin at 4-th of September is getting closer and closer with every day, we think it’s a good time to summarize what we already know, and what are the unknown but rumored specs of this great device.
Different types and sizes of display was mentioned from the first day when internet was started talking about GN3, but we bet for 5.7-inch screen from the beginning – and we are more than sure that all GN3 variants introduced will pack this size of screen. Also, the confirmed resolution is 1920 x 1080, as the Samsung’s UAProf website says in clear text. So sorry guys, no flexible display yet, maybe in Note 4.
As for now we are sure that there will be two variants shipped to users around the world. SM-N900 will be powered by latest Exynos Octa from Samsung – 5420 clocked at 1.8Ghz, with ARM Mali T628 GPU built-in, and the SM-N9005 version will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (8974) clocked at 2.3Ghz, with Adreno 330 GPU. All signs points that US variants of Note will all pack the Snapdragon SoC.
Various sites speculates that Note 3 series may pack 3GB of RAM memory (possibly confirmed in latest Sammobile leak), we are keeping up fingers crossed for it, as more memory equals more flexibility in multitasking.
All versions of Note 3 will have MicroSD card slot supporting cards up to 64GB in size. Internal confirmed storage variants will be 16GB and 32GB, (according to Sammobile sources, there will be a also limited availability of 64GB version in selected markets).
We have had confirmed that upcoming Phablet will pack latest Broadcom 5G WiFi combo chip (BCM4339) for Bluetooth and WiFi (a/b/g/n/c) connectibity.
