Exynos 5 dual application processor boosts Nexus 10 tablet
Samsung Electronics announced that its Exynos 5 Dual application processor powers the new Nexus 10 tablet from Google, with the highest WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution in the market. The Exynos 5 Dual is the world’s first application processor based on the ARM Cortex-A15 CPU, which has been designed with both performance and power efficiency in mind to bring superb user experience in mobile devices.


The Exynos 5 Dual, with two ARM Cortex-A15 CPUs running at a blazing 1.7GHz, accompanied by four powerful Mali-T604 GPU cores, full high definition multimedia capabilities, built-in ISP for camera/image processing, and the widest memory bandwidth available in mobile SoCs at 12.8 GB/s, is the only solution currently in the market to support the richest media and computing experience in stunning WQXGA resolution within the mobile environment.
