Dual Sim Samsung Galaxy S5 variant hits China, exclusive for China Telecom

Samsung and China Telecom has officialy annouced dual sim version of Galaxy S5 flagship. The Chinese operator exclusive model SM-G9009D will hold the same specs as the international snapdragon powered variant and these are 2.5 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, 5.1-inch 1920x1080p (Full HD) screen, 2GB RAM, 2MP front and 16MP main camera, 16GB internal memory (expandable by microSD card), and all of this superb hardware is powered by 2800 mAh removable battery. Of course this variant is also dust and water resistant (IP67 certification).

Exclusive variant of Galaxy S5 Dual SIM released for China Telecom will also support CDMA2000 standard in one of it’s sim card slots, as the operator network uses it widely, the other sim slot will operate in normal GSM.

Galaxy S5 “DUOS” will be available starting from 11th of April, and priced $850 (CNY5,299) without conctract.

Any explanation why Samsung has not been able to churn out dual SIM operating on LTE and GSM accordingly?

Also it would make a world of difference if all of Samsung's dual SIM be fully Active mode.
