Designers Journal: SomeOne puts the wind in Tizen’s sails (Connecting anything with a screen)

[nggallery id=15 template=galleryview images=0]

SomeOne have just released, unto the world, a full strategic brand world for Tizen — “an amazing new platform coming to something with a screen near you” aka, a spanking new, open source, operating system. Have that Windows.

“Tizen is an open source, standards-based software platform supported by leading mobile operators, device manufacturers, and silicon suppliers for multiple device categories, including smartphones, tablets, netbooks, in-vehicle infotainment devices, smart TVs, and more. Tizen offers an innovative operating system, applications, and a user experience that consumers can take from device to device.”

SomeOne’s founder Simon Manchipp adds; “Being open source, we created a strategic global visual brand identity that is open source. People can take it apart, use bits of it, change it and make it adapt to their specific needs, wants and whims. We created a multitude of brand assets for people to choose from. It can do as much or as little as you like.”

Typically handsome, solid SomeOne fodder, read more about the project here (alreaddy taken down or upgrading) and give them a nod on Twitter.
