AOSP Ice Cream Sandwich RC1 pushed to public by Onecosmic – Get It Now!

It looks like community is taking over Galaxy S support for future releases of Android!
Yesterday Samsung pushed out official list of devices that will get upgrade to latest Android called Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS),
unfortunately the list lacks many devices that can easily handle latest Android system release.

There were two teams that tried to compile a working AOSP ROM and Kernel for GT-I9000 and GT-I9000B from AOSP sources provided by Google.
The breakthrough in porting came with official Nexus S support by Google and published sources,
as these devices are mostly the same (with some limitations from Nexus S side :))

As for now, the way best ROM i tested is Onecosmic RC1 version which i decide to mirror over samsung-updates.com for more wide use.

What doesn’t work? you may ask.
The answer is that I DIDN’T FIND ANY APP THAT DON’T WORK,
it looks like its hard stable without any FC’s and errors!

We are waiting for your comments, and info about this release and of course …
